Ingredients
- 1 can of Chickpeas
- 2 tbsp Tahini
- 1 clove of Garlic
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 4 tbsp Olive oil (add more if needed)
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper
- 1tsp Salt (add more if needed)
- a pinch of Cumin (more if desired)
- Optional additions; 2 tbsp pickled jalapeno, 1-2 tsp smoked paprika
- Optional toppings; pomagranite seeds, jalapeno slices, roasted chickpeas
Directions
- Add all the ingredients to a mixer and blend until smooth, adding more salt, pepper, or lemon juice to taste.
- Add more olive oil to make the hummus more smooth.
- If using, add one of the optional additions and blend until combined.
- Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and toppings if desired.
- Store in the frige covered in cling film (make sure the cling film touches the hummus overwise a skin will form)
